The selected paintings will include the works of eminent artists of figurative works, including Meriem Meziane, Ahmed Benyessef, Mohamed Krich, Abdelaziz Cherkaoui, Abdeslam Bouzourhoun, Abdelhalim Raji and Brahim Sadouk.
The artists will present visitors with a collection of paintings, inspired by urban and rural world, Moroccan architecture and women and nature.
Marsam2 aims at presenting works of artists who strive into the arduous field of figuration.
The artists invite visitors to savour and share their visions and dreams.
Meriem Meziane, one of the participants in the exhibition, will present her paintings, which reflect the nature's beauty and the charm of Moroccan characters. Born in Melilla, Meziane was graduated from San Fernando School of Arts in Madrid. She expresses attachment to her beloved country by symbolising the Moroccan culture in her works of art.
Ahmed Benyessef will also be among the participants. A figurative painter, he also presents characters from daily life. One of his eminent masterpieces, symbolising hope, is the white dove which lightens the universe.
Mohamed Krich's paintings are also going to be present in the exhibition. Known for his inspiration from real scenes, the artist has participated in many collective exhibitions in Morocco and abroad.
Abdelaziz Cherkaoui and Abdeslam Bouzourhoun will come from the north of the kingdom to exhibit their special works. Their artistic expressions were painted through the dream and fantasy. Mirrors of the soul, their works of art deserve acclaim.
Abdelhalim Raji will also display his drawing skills. He has created many portraits, oil and pastel paintings.
Brahim Sadouk will present his paintings, in which he revives scenes of his country with its traditional architecture. He introduces into his masterpieces geometrical motifs inspired by rural and urban arts.
